"First, I want to say that Maria was fantastic! friendly, informative, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. The staff overall was 10/10. Unfortunately, the hotel itself was the complete opposite.
The room photos online are very misleading and do not accurately represent what you actually get.
Our first room had a broken air conditioner, was significantly smaller than advertised, and was in poor condition. With two beds in the room, you practically had to climb onto one bed to access the other. The walls were filthy, covered with stains, scuffs, and large patches of missing paint. Overall, the room felt dirty and poorly maintained. Thankfully, the front desk staff was accommodating and moved us to another room.
The second room was slightly larger, but still nowhere near what was shown in the photos. The air conditioning worked, which was an improvement, but the room had visible BLACK MOLD. The water pressure was extremely weak, and the hot water was barely warm.
The only major positive, aside from the staff, is the location. The hotel is right in Times Square, putting you within walking distance of many of the city’s main attractions and hotspots.
Unfortunately, this stay was a total waste of money. Under normal circumstances, I would have checked out and booked a different hotel, but due to circumstances beyond my control, that wasn’t an option.
Overall: Staff 10/10, Hotel Rooms 0/10. Great employees and a great location cannot make up for the poor condition, cleanliness"
