"Great value for a NYC area hotel."
We visited our daughters in Brooklyn and sister in Manhattan. While HN Hotel is on the outskirts, the shuttle to the L train made it easy to commute back and forth to Manhattan. Huge rooms, comfortable beds. Little loud at night when trucks drive by, but not terrible. Would definitely stay there again.

"Great location, spacious, chic rooms, attentive"
My stay at the Gansevoort Hotel Park Avenue was luxurious, indulgent, and highlighted by personalized service from a caring staff. I arrived on a cold Saturday afternoon, having booked through Expedia. The reception team was warm, friendly, and swift. I had a cold, tired toddler with me, and the doorman greeted her with a cheerful smile as he helped us in, the front desk brought her a bottle of water and quickly passed us the keys to get situated. A bellhop set up our room, 917, which overlooked a great view of the city, water towers, and park Avenu street scenes. We had a small balcony which made for fun people watching, too, and I thought a balcony in and of itself to be quite a rarity, and delightful, given the variety and range of boutique and large traditional hotels I've stayed in across the city. The room was HUGE by NYC standards, with a lovely couch, ottoman, chair, and desk- we could easily entertain friends for drinks or an impromptu Taylor Swift dance party with my baby and bestie. The huge soaking tub was the ultimate way to warm up after a day in the museum and night at the bars. We swam in the awesome rooftop pool at dusk, and enjoyed an unprecedented view of the Empire State Building from the water. Water was warm, and likely salt water, which felt great on our muscles. I had an awesome core barre workout at Exhale, on site, which is one of my favorite gyms/spas in the country. Ultimately, the Gansevoort Park Avenue is my new New York go-to hotel.

"Fab stay in New York with Chelsea Pines!!"
Me and my now Fiancee stayed at Chelsea Pines Inn from Weds 11th Feb to Sun Feb 15th. The trip was booked as a surprise to my partner as I planned to propose while in New York. I booked the Chelsea Pines Inn based on reviews from Trip Advisor. The hotel is located in a great spot on 14th St. right by the subway. Easy to get to from the airport and easy to access to all we wanted see and do in the city. We were greeted very warmly by Rumel. He was so friendly and provided us with tips on things to see and do in the area and as we're Vegan, he gave us a list of good restaurants and made personal recommendations and dinner reservation. With maps of the city and other useful info we were set. The layout of the hotel is very cosy, the kitchen is great. We LOVED the Apple and Cinnamon cider made by the lovely Jason to warm us up after being out in the cold! :) Our room was compact, but had everything we needed. The bed was very comfy and room always extremely clean. Breakfast was our fav part of the day. To sit in the communal kitchen and chat to other guests and Jason - what an warm kind guy. Always there to help! The spread is great, a mixture of cereals, fresh/dried fruits, bagels, jams, nut butters, good coffee, herbal teas and more. For Valentines day I ordered some flowers to be delivered to the hotel. Again Rumel, took care of me and said he would have the flowers put in our room for when we returned. Everyone at the hotel was so helpful and kind.

"Fantastic Hotel, Great Staff !!!"
Stayed at this Hotel for 7 nights commencing the 12th of march 2015 for my daughters 18th birthday. I cannot recommend this hotel enough! Contacted the Hotel 2 days prior and asked if i could have some flowers in the room for her arrival. I was told that it would be all taken in hand and not to worry. When we arrived and entered our suite it was far beyond any expectations, there was rose petals spelling eighteen on the bed as well as a bottle of Posseco for myself and my Son and some sparking apple cider for my daughter (due to the legal age being 21 over there) as well as three cakes from the famous Magnolia Bakery set out with candles in. Just to top this off the Room was also full of balloons, so we were off to a great start ! throughout our stay staff were more than helpful with any request and very friendly. Breakfast was great with plenty of options and the afternoon Cheese and Wine was an added bonus. After previously staying in the Hilton on times Square I would never dream of staying anywhere else but the Casablanca. Overall a fantastic experience that felt like being looked after by family ! would recommend this to anyone !

"The right place for me"
Rooms were basic but clean. Everything was exactly as promised. As a single woman traveling alone, I was a bit concerned about safety but always felt completely comfortable in this neighborhood. Enjoyed chatting with Michael. Yes, the subway ride in and out of midtown was about 25 minutes, but it was easy and part of the New York adventure. I'll return here next time I'm in town.

"Celebration of a birthday and a retirement"
The Library Hotel is a intimate calm place in the midst of a busy exciting New York City. Close to everything we walked to shopping, music, theatre, and some of the best art galleries in the world. The staff were great giving us suggestions on restaurants, getting cabs and just being cheery as the temperatures dropped. The rooftop bar was were we went after a busy day and plan for the evening, very cozy and relaxed. Now it is on the list of hotels that we recommend to our traveling friends. Many thanks for the great experience Anthony Lysak and Catherine MacEwen
