"This was the worst hotel stay I have ever experienced. We were first assigned to a room that was already occupied. I immediately complained to the manager because I was then nervous that someone might be assigned to our room after we checked in. I was told we would receive compensation upon checkout for the inconvenience. Never happened.
When we checked out, we were told there were no notes on the issue. They said they had waived the hotel charge as a courtesy, but when I reviewed my AmEx bill, I had in fact been charged.
There was no coffee in the room, no washcloths, and no kettle. We had to pay an unreasonable amount for coffee in the lobby. There was also no valet parking, even though it was listed online as an amenity. My husband had to walk three blocks to the garage.
The hotel claimed there was a garage discount. We gave them our ticket to validate at checkout, and they said they had done so and sent a message to the garage, but when we got to the garage, there was no discount and no message. We were charged full price.
Really Shameful! I will never recommend this hotel to anyone and will never, ever stay there again!"
