"Lovely hotel - excellent location for all main activities in and around Cairo. The hotel is very secure - checks on all vehicles entering. Tour guides could find the hotel easily. Good choice of restaurants in the hotel. Live music in the bar in the evenings - very good. Room was comfortable. Only downside was the pool is very small and very noisy - despite the screening around it, it's impossible not to hear the Cairo traffic."

"This is a lovely boutique hotel taking up a few high floors in a large building right opposite the Egyptian Museum in Cairo. Each room is named after a different Egyptian God. Friendly staff, beautifully decorated rooms, and fantastic location. Downsides were that I paid $20 for early check-in (which seems pretty pricey), my room (Bastet) had a sewage smell so might have a drain problem, and the lift doors are very difficult to open and close."
