Room clean and comfortable. Very convenient location. Neighborhood terrible and filthy with unceasing vendors. Very annoying to be harassed to buy moment walk outside. I am well accustomed having traveled extensively. Very loud wealthy party inside compound on night there at base of sphinx. Fireworks, canon fire and VERY loud music till 3AM. Other loud parties in area. Very loud environment. Staff tried to be helpful and were overall kind, but it is a very dated hotel in a filthy part of town that happens to be on a great and convenient location for pyramid access. 1 minute to gate with excellent sunset view. Realize what this hotel is and with that you will be fine.

The location was everything in this hotel with amazing views (depending on room you select).The room was a bit dated with window not closing completely causing the air conditioning not to really cool the room,but all in all i was very satisfied with my stay.The staff was very attentive and welcoming and willing to help with any questions or tours if you havent made plans.Sidenote you are right in front of the Giza entrance so you will be swamped with vendors once you step out of lobby but that is everywhere in Egypt.I Definitely recommend this hotel if your in cairo for Giza,waking up to the pyramids is in front of your room is beyond words

The hotel manager and staff were amazing to us after many delays in getting to Egypt. Our room had an amazing view. The hotel is right at the foot of Giza. Rooftop was spectacular. Breakfast delicious. It is many stairs to get up to the hotel and maybe not in the best area but the manager and staff made up for that. We never felt unsafe as two females traveling though. We really enjoyed our stay!

Friendly staff and an unbelievable view!

We really enjoyed our one night here with our group of 8. It's a bit of an odd place as only part of the building is the hotel. But the view is incredible and the service is great. Mohammad the manager is friendly and helpful. The rooftop restaurant is amazing and the food was great, although it's not very fast. There were some quirks, like the water pressure was inconsistent but I would highly recommend this hotel for a stay with full view of the pyramids.

We stayed two nights and this was 2 too many as there was construction going on all night and well into the early morning. Didn’t sleep a wink. The view from our room was exceptional when you look off into the distance and past all the construction. The hospitality was excellent and we would stay here again after clarifying no construction in or around the site. Staff apologized for the construction that was completely out of their hands.

Be careful of the room you book.

The hotel double books their pyramid view rooms, and sadly we were the unlucky ones. The staff admitted they were aware the room we booked wasn't available and offered a discount on a different room. They also told us they would give a better rate if we didn't give them a bad review. We left the hotel and found another across the street with the pyramid view for 1/3 the price. Besides that this is a 2 star hotel at best...more of a guest house or backpacker place.

I DO NOT recommend. The area around the hotel is in a rough neighborhood. We booked a Luxury multi bed room and they gave us a different room. When we called it out to the hotel manager he did nothing. Insisted it was the right room but it wasn’t. In the morning while the staff were cleaning we could see the room that we had booked. There is a difference in price and they didn’t care. The breakfast was decent and the views are very nice.

IF YOU ARE GOING TO SEE THE PYRAMIDS, BOOK THIS HOTEL!!! You will not regret it! You will be right in front of the sphinx and the pyramids, such a breathtaking view when you eat your delicious breakfast (order their mango juice, I think its the best one I've ever had) The rooms are clean and spacious. The staff are phenomenal-very attentive, helpful and friendly. They make you feel like family-we would like to mention the manager Moh for setting everything for us specially the tour--we love our tour guide Shareef. We recommend getting the tour from this property to avoid being scammed and ripped off. We became friends with most of their wonderful staff such as Aboode, Abdelraman, Mohammed (dayshift). They also offer pick up from airport to hotel and back-our driver Omar was prompt and very careful driving us around-do not attempt to drive, Cairo drivers and traffic is so bad. I'm so grateful that we chose to book this lovely property, without it, our experience wouldn't be so perfect.

If you want the perfect view this is the place for you. There are some stairs but the place is perfect, our room was on the same floor as reception, 2 xl twin beds, with balcony overlooking pyramids, free wifi, breakfast was included in our reservation but there are many food places nearby. The staff was very friendly and pffered a helping hand whenever possible. We were offered many tours around Cairo and Giza, but ended up just getting the transfer from the airport through them, wonderful service, the driver was very accommodating and found us at the airport right away, welcomed us and happily went over what to expect in Cairo during our stay, it was a great experience (thank you Ali!). Overall, i would deff stay here again and will deff be providing friends and family members with this place

We booked for the Panoramic View Room. The check in for us was terrible, the property manager greeted us /sat us down and pressured us to book with him for tours, he did NOT STOP, he kept asking why.. and would not take us to the room EVEN after politely telling him no (Mind you we just got out of a 12+ plane ride) after I stood firm and said No; he looked upset and took us to the room. Very disappointed how that felt for us. For the room, it had great view! We didn’t have to go anywhere to see the pyramids and the entrance to the pyramids is extremely close (30 seconds from hotel to ticket purchase and entry). Although it was that close, we felt that it didn’t compensate on the cons: The electricity went out for 45 min on day 1 and water went out for 2hrs on day 2 (8am) so we couldn’t shower / or restroom before our adventure, they said it was the whole area and they couldn’t do anything. Would I pay here to stay again; NOOOOOO! I felt that I overpaid for the “view” .. for future travelers.. I would book a much cheaper hotel elsewhere that has more SPACE and better amenities with much better service. After this stay, we booked in downtown Cairo for WAY CHEAPER and the service was 1000% better. If I would do it again, I would drive to pyramids and soak it in on top of a restaurant/view and return to a hotel in Cairo.

Stay for the view

Great location for Pyramid and Sphinx views. Hotel is noisy and the bedroom window was lacking covering to keep light out. Very pushy people on the street the second you step our of the hotel

I do not trust this hotel, simply said..

Had booked “Panorama Room” (against Pyramids) and got a smaller/sideroom (street view) and next night a room w/o window. Hotel blamed Hotel.com. After confronting management, the hotel said it WAS the ordered room. Again blamed Expedia/Hotels.com. Hotel tried offering dinner and a “full day with guide, 8 hrs, for free” But it is NOT for free, as I payed more for the “panorama view-room” - every time I said I only want the room I payed for, the replied “all sold out” The last night we had the “suite” - a room beside the restaurant where staff and guests smokes right beside. The terrace to the room was stored old parasols and some electrical stuff sticking from the floor. Other guests had free view to this terrace from upstairs. Toilet door could not be closed/stay closed and the lock was jammed. Lots of staff but no control regarding booking - and the manager blames a new staff.. The place is absolutely not for people with less mobility. The rooms are located 3 stories up but by staircase. Staff constantly over service and grabs suitcases etc. Even after several “no thanks” and manager saying “let them do their work - they work here..” Our life’s dream-anniversary trip, booking a “panorama view room” ended up in having the “panorama” anywhere else than our rooms, sadly.

Our last night was in this “suite” - no curtains and no window..

- no windows and no tv. No bedsidelamps. We payed for “panorama room” (even from the bed) to the Pyramids with balcony

Electrical stuff, be aware of falling over this..

I don’t normally write reviews but I feel that this is the only way I can stop other U.S. travelers becoming the next victim of fraud or scam in Egypt on this property (Egypt Pyramids Inn). If you are traveling from the USA, please do not book this hotel! You don't have to trust me. You can book at your own risk and find out how dishonest this hotel and its management! Still waiting for my refund even though we did not stay there just two weeks ago! Here is the last message to them which they are ignoring and now Expedia is helping us to resolve the issue. This is the 4th message to the hotel and no response yet: February 12, 2025: “Hello, You are violating Expedia’s terms and conditions. Please refund the full amount of (omitted USD) since you were not able to offer the correct room type and we didn’t stay at your hotel. If not, I will be reporting this issue directly to Expedia and make sure you are not able to commit further fraud. Thank you.”
