The property is beautiful. So many beatiful plants and landscaping. Pools were nice although I was a little surprised that they allowed children at the swim up bar...like actually taking seats. I think other resorts considder that pool to be adult only. So there were times that we swam up and couldnt sit on the barstools because eight year olds were taking them. I didnt think the staff was nearly as friendly as other resorts I have stayed in....most of them walk by you and dont say a word. There were a few amazing employees....the 3 bartenders at the swim up pool were awesome....we had a waiter in the Mexican restaurant that went way beyond. Overall I would stay theree again

The facility is old. The main foyer is beautiful, clean, updated but when you arrive in the rooms, it is dirty (hair and sand on the floor) and dark. The pool is okay but the tiles are grungy and some areas obviously needed repair. There was stool in the kids pool and the kids area smelled very strongly of urine. The food was hit or miss. One night was Mexican at the buffet and that was amazing! El pastor tacos made to order plus many other options. Like many other all inclusives, this resort reuses the food. So the morning after the Mexican night at the buffet, it was all Mexican breakfast food reused from the night before - not wasteful but other options would be nice. The breakfast omelets made to order were great but the rest of the breakfast was usually cold such as the waffles and pancakes. Sometimes there was bacon, sometimes not. The a la carte dinner reservation system is challenging, unless you are a member you basically won’t get a reso. The late night snack bar was a joke. Beef tacos, one salsa and some onions. Refused to add cheese or avocado. They told me I had to order room service to get those options which comes with a 6$ US cost… the drinks were made from crappy booze and you have to specifically request the name brands bottles on display. Overall it was fine but this is certainly not a 5 star hotel… I would say 2.5. For more than 400$ a night for my young family of 4, I would rather stay at a true 5 star hotel without the all inclusive option.

German from Trip Advisor misquoted the taxi to airport price, he told us $150USD when the tea price was $40USD. Room was clean, very cold refrigerator, great fruits. Food was good, A for the prehispánico and Michael Jackson show. The entertainment pool bar and waitress staff weee great. Clean towels and pool bar waitress were happy, funny and very good socially.

We had a great time staying at Royal Solaris. The staff was very friendly. There are plenty of food options daily and the reservable restaurants were delicious. The main pool has a lot of space surrounding it. There is also a shallow pool and an entire kids pool and area that were great for our children. Easy to park on site or get transported to. Walkable to restaurants and shops if you want to get away for a bit. Our room was fine, nothing fancy but acceptable. You can enjoy the sand on the beach but there is no swimming where the property is at due to unsafe conditions. Overall we would stay here again.

I almost didn’t book this resort due to other people’s reviews about food etc .. am not picky but we do like good food .. food wasn’t amazing but it wasn’t bad it was pretty descent and good. They have a buffet restaurant that is available to everyone and it was descent we ate there most of the time and then they have restaurants that you can make reservations to dine there, only got to try the Italian one and even though it was limited options the food was great. Also during the day they have many options like stone oven pizza being made to order by the pool, sushi options also being made to order, a different buffet by the beach, a snack bar with the basics like burgers, fries fruit etc .. and each day they have like specialties one day it was Brazilian food and another day it was wings they were grilling outside .. they really do try and I like that and some food options were good. It’s clean and cleaning ladies are great .. they an also provide waters, sodas and beer refills for your room mini fridge everyday. The staff was great and friendly always helpful, the bar tenders and servers were even better! They had night family activities every day .. one night was karaoke, another was an outdoor movie on a giant projector, another was like a fire show, also has a theater that had shows daily like Michael Jackson, Disney character shows etc. overall the entire resort was clean every worker was friendly and they work hard to keep it that way. My family enjoyed the stay!

This was the first time going to Los Cabos and staying at Solaris. The resort was okay, it was clean and spacious. They did not have the room i originally requested. The food at the buffet was great. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I felt there needed to be more entertainment and activities to do during the day as the resort was pretty quiet unless you were at the beach or pool.

Amazing bartenders and staff overall. Cons- pushy and inappropriate interactions with regards to memberships and timeshares. Transportation department scheduled my departure for 8am because of “traffic” despite the flight took off at 12:30pm. Was not able to make reservations at the restaurants that were part of the all inclusive.

I stayed March 10-17 with my 2 and 4 year old and we had a great time. The resort is very family friendly which we appreciated. Rooms were clean and comfortable beds. The property could use some fixing up around the pool (broken tile, rebar sticking out of the pool deck). The food in my opinion was sub par, we did not make it to any of the restaurants. Overall an affordable and fun time for a family with young kids.

Lots of tripping hazards that can cause injury, watered down drinks, only allowed 2 beers in the room in 24 hours. I repeat ONLY 2 beers a day. You are welcome to drink watered down beers from the bar. Friendly staff but food was so so. No change or variety in food. Everyday was same food, same location. Surf and turf had an extra charge of $58 US. Not a good resort for adults only.

Did not care for being approached and talked into buying into their ‘time share.’ Very pushy and had to say no to three different men before they finally let us leave the ‘presentation.’ Also did not like being treated different than the ‘gold’ wrist band people. Felt excluded.

My family and I stayed here for 4 nights and 5 days and had an incredible time. The buffets were great and the different dining options for dinner made for a good time (just make sure to make your dinner reservations as soon as you arrive. They go fast!) our favorite part of the stay was the water aerobics activity every day at the pool. Staff was very welcoming, attentive, and kind. We stayed on the property the majority of our visit and it was perfect. Would definitely come back if we ever decide to come to Cabo again.

The staff was amazing, everyone is very nice, the place is very family friendly. However, the snack booth lines such as pizza and sushi have a ridiculously long wait, I felt like a lot of vacation time was wasted in line for 40-50 minutes at a time. The app for reservations at restaurants was a bit faulty as well. The shows were great, beds were comfortable. I do feel that we were not able to fully experience what this place to offer because we weren't a member though. Would I come back? Probably not, but it was a nice stay overall.

We stayed at Royal Solaris in 2022 and had a lovely time. I was excited to return, but this was not nearly as good of an experience. I booked my room for my daughter and me online. When we arrived, I was told to pay an additional $519 because my 17yr old was an adult, not a child… however, still couldn’t drink, go to the gym or do anything without an adult over 18yrs. We struggled to get reservations for dinner and customer service for transportation was unfriendly. The waiters, pool bar staff, and shuttle drivers were wonderful and friendly. The reservations desk and travel desk were disappointing.

This property engages in unethical business practices. While booking I noticed it said that we could make changes or cancellations up to March 14. Unfortunately due to a personal situation we found we had to be home for March 22 we had to be back home. This occurred on March 6 and on March 7th I called Expedia for assistance in shortening our stay. From March 7th to the 13th I received emails indicating my request was being followed up. On March 14th I received a notice my request was denied. For them to ignore the requests until the deadline is totally unethical. The decision should be based on the day of the request, not the day they decide to action it. I shall make sure as many people know of this company's unethical practices as I can.

The property is what you can expect for the price that you pay. Out of all the trips that we have gone on this resort, probably had the worst food and the most limited options for food property was clean staff was super friendly. The seagulls and the birds were annoying. You’re constantly over the pool this is not only an annoyance and scared the children but this is a health department and safety concern issue. Having the birds eat the food in the buffet lines is a cleaniess issue. We have stayed at many many resorts that all have procedures in place to keep seagulls and birds away from the food.

Great, clean and safe property. The staff are so hospitable and friendly and really make the stay unique! Capi Angel and Victor were so accommodating and really helped us get the most out of our stay. At the Italian restaurant Marco Polo our servers David, Diana, and especially Luis made us feel so welcome and Luis was my son’s favourite new friend and is still talking about him. Lunch with Uriel was always great! And Jazmine at breakfast was so friendly and kind! The children’s playground and water area were used daily by us with our 2 year old and he loved it. Right outside the hotel property are great shops and restaurants and it is a 10-15 minute walk to a shopping plaza for anything else we needed. The beach is expansive and beautiful, as every property in the area, the water is not swimmable due to the unsafe water conditions but it’s still a great place to sit and you can see whales in the morning.

The Royal Solaris was good in many areas. The kids area, the cleanliness, staff, drinks and location. The areas needing improvement - the food situation. There is no variation, lack of selection, trays not filled when empty and the long lines. Pizza wait was a min of 30 min and waited up to an hour in line one of the days. . We found room service for dinner was the best option for us as food came hot, quickly and always had something our family could eat. we are not foodies and don't expect unreal expectation at all inclusives but this was the worst we've ever had.
