"We had a pleasant stay with our family at this cottage with a group of 10 people. The kitchen is well equipped with blenders, espresso makers, etc. The canoe had holes in it and was dangerous to use but we enjoyed all of the other water activity amenities like kayaks and paddle boards. "Never stayed at a hotel without traditional "check in" but the arrival package provided prior was perfect and easy enough to follow. "My husband and I stayed for 2 nights over this past weekend. Joy's Chalet provided everything we hoped to get from our time away. It's an hour or so from downtown Ottawa, We got to bring our doggo which was wonderful! Communication with the host was 10/10. Chalet was as described. Check in a breeze. "Everything was exceptionally clean!! The hosts answered any questions in a helpful and timely fashion. The only thing I would mention is that sound is not very insulated! You can hear upstairs everything in the basement-even whispers, the walls are very thin so be mindful of how much noise you make as to not wake others. Thanks to the hosts"

"Celebrated my birthday in this chalet and I couldn’t ask for a better place! There is (more than) enough space for me and my friends. Staying by the lake was very relaxing, we spent a lot of time in the hot tub just chilling. I appreciate that the kitchen is complete with things that we needed for our dinner.
