"I absolutely adored my stay here. The house is beautifully nestled at the top.of the Waitakeres, with a magnificent view of Auckland city. The house itself had a lovely welcoming feel. The owners have taken the time to style the property with a gorgeous collection of antique furniture. I must admit, i was deeply envious of the curtains. The spa was perfect for soaking and napping. The property was very clwan and the owner was an excellent and prompt communicator. I hope to stay again."

"We had a great stay at this lovely property. There was an initial hiccup with access as the gate latch was broken but this was quickly sorted by the manager. The second bedroom is tight for space but functional."

"We really enjoyed our 2 night stay here. The space was exactly as described, very spacious and cozy. The owners were kind and helpful, the TV was playing up and wouldn’t connect to the internet and they tried their best to get it working. The only things that need to be noted are that because the property has a septic tank the toilet struggles to flush properly and fills up really high with water before it goes back down and need a double flush, and when we first walked into the bathroom there...

"The stunning factor is the view from the lounge and kitchen area. The rooms are large and spacious, even with family members theres still room to have your own space. "This is a great spot for a group holiday stay. It is close to multiple beaches (but I would recommend driving rather than walking to them). The house has everything you need to have a comfortable stay. Jason is a very responsive and kind host."

"This place could be amazing based on its location and layout, but unfortunately it needs some love and attention. The worst feature is by far the bathroom which is utilitarian at best, plus it actually doubles as the washing utility area. There are little things like screw holes in the walls and cheap hooks for hanging clothes which really detract from could be an amazing property. The kitchen is functional and I was able to whip up a decent breakfast with all the appliances available. ...

While the listing accurately reflects that the beach is only minutes away, it does not reflect that getting there and back on foot involves descending and ascending a very steep incline and several flights of steps. "Perfectly located property right across the road from the beach with amazing views. Could watch our teenage kids playing volleyball and basketball all from the comfort of the deck. Kitchen was light on cutlery, but still had all the basics needed which was great. Would definitely book again, thanks for having us!"
