"Has to to be Tokyo's top location when affordable"
Rooms are amazing in terms of design. A nail dryer? Of course. There are a few reasons why I clawed back a star in the facilities category. One, the ground-floor lobby, while delightful, is too small for breakfast service at peak times. Once you realize of course, other options such as room service can be explored, but no buffet? Two, no doubt the views from the most expensive suites, at the front of the hotel, are are knockout. As far as I can ascertain, these are the only unimpeded views of the Imperial Palace gardens from any hotel. However, the hotel is a tall narrow tower hemmed in on the other sides by often equally high buildings. So the other rooms have much more mundane views (mine was still interesting, with a glimpse of Shinkansen "bullet trains" sneaking back and forth). Some other Tokyo hotels can better this on average. Third, minor but worth a mention, I couldn't find a way to link the very sophisticated in-room audio system to my iPhone. A simple iPhone dock is in many hotels. I simply thought I should explain the missing star versus the high-achieving peer group. Everything else is stunning and if you want to stay somewhere that makes you feel infinitely stylish, this is it. I look forward to staying again when the deal is right or if I can ever afford one of those front-facing suites! The staff in sailor suits theme is cute of course and they are delightful in every way. Peter, the restaurant on the 24th floor, is very expensive, but brilliant for a treat.

"Nice hotel right on the edge of Ginza"
First the hotel couldn't find my reservation via Expedia but that took only 5 minutes to resolve and hotel staff were very warm and helpful. Got an upgrade from a one twin bed room to a two twin bed room on the top floor. The view (Hibiya park) was great. The location is unbeatable as I can walk to Ginza, the fish market, and the central Tokyo government buildings (where my meetings were held). The hotel is right across the street from the Imperial Hotel, on a busy street where plenty of taxi cabs go by all day. Walking distance to tons and tons of fantastic Japanese and other restaurants. 1 minute to the famous Yakitori area under the bridge, fill of smoke at night, quite a sight and experience. Have a couple hours to kill? take a short walk to Ginza, visit the Sony building, or the Apple store, or any of the world fashion flag ship stores line along the streets of Ginza. Overall, a very pleasant stay of 4 nights.

"Good location, easy to get around"
If you plan to visit Tsujiki fish market and shopping in Ginza area, this place is suitable for you. It's not far from a train station, just 5 mins walk. English skill of hotel staff is just fair though. You need to be a little patient when explain things to them.

"good position in Ginza"
This hotel is in a good position close to restaurants and the Ginza shops. Subway nearby. The rooms are quite small but comfortable. The breakfast was expensive so we went out to Pronto until it closed. Then Starbucks.

"Good location and modern, but 4 stars?"
Excellent location in Ginza, which is a very modern and upmarket shopping district. The Mitsukoshi department store is across the road, and this is a very large department store with an excellent food court in the basement. The hotel is located close to a subway (metro) station, for easy access to Tokyo Station and the rest of Tokyo. The Kabuki Theatre is located around the corner, and the Tsujiki fish market is within walking distance. Tokyo is divided into large distinct districts. Therefore, there is no "city centre" of Tokyo, so the location of this hotel is very good. The hotel is very modern, and the rooms are very clean and comfortable. Despite this, we would question the 4 star rating, as many of features that are generally present in other 4 star hotels are lacking. The staff were very pleasant and friendly, and provided an amicable service, but there was nothing particularly special about the service, which might be expected of 4 star establishments. Additionally, there was no concierge, spa, gym, bar or in-room minibar. There is, however, a pleasant restaurant, free wifi, free newspapers and complementary bottled water. This modern hotel was very well presented, but it was such little finishing touches which leaves us questioning its 4 star rating. Overall, the price we paid was good value for money, and we would recommend this hotel. Should we return to Tokyo in the future, we would very happily choose to stay at this hotel again.
