"Hotel has been newly painted, at least on the third floor. Manager was on the floor to greet guest thanking them for their patience with the paint smell. I found that to be very gracious of him to be doing that. Room was excellent, very spacious, extremely clean and very comfortable. my stay was for one night for a high school graduation. My stay was wonderful except the next morning the maid is already knocking on the door, wanting to clean the room which I found crazy since I was checking out...

"well , it looked like someone had sat on one of the beds and i refused to sleep on it. woman at desk asked me if i mined changing the sheets because i did not want to move up stairs. so i did. you are to have ability to stay there till 11 but woman was there to clean room before 9 . so make sure you stick out you sign on door. The room was clean. . tv remote need to be replaced.. other than that it was okay.. I do think there should be some kind of heat in the bathroon on cool morning."

"Although this is a older establishment, it has been lovingly remodeled and decorated. It is similar to what was once called a 'tourist court' back in the 40s & 50s. But that suits me just fine. It fills the bill for an overnight stay, as long as a person isn't overly picky. I've stayed in fancy places from LA to NYC and metro areas in between, but a little place like this has a nostalgic appeal that hard to beat."
