Bring your furry friends to enjoy this newly remodeled home near Stephenville's historic square! The property features a large backyard, connected to the Bosque River Trail, fully stocked coffee bar, smart TV's in every room, office space in the master bedroom, and more. Only 1 mile to Tarleton State University and a short walk to the square for shopping, drinks, and delicious food. If activities aren't your thing, cookout on the back patio and enjoy your meal by the fire pit.

The Space:
Located in a nice quiet neighborhood and backed up to the bosque river walking trail. Huge backyard, 3 bedrooms, living room, and a large kitchen stocked with everything you will need!

The Neighborhood:
The neighborhood is quiet and a five minute walk to the square. There is only one neighboring home and the property owners are very sweet! You can access the Bosque River Trail from the backyard. There are always people walking their dogs, jogging, and riding bikes along the trail.

Getting Around:
Easily accessible property with covered parking for 2. Walking distance from the Stephenville square, shops, restaurants, and drinks!

The Hive at Stephenville TX

We were looking for a pet-friendly stay during our move from Florida to out west. The Hive was an extremely cute, well appointed and seemingly professionally decorated stay with a large, fully fenced in back yard for our fur babies to run and sniff after being cooped up in the car for 10 hours. Will definitely keep in mind for any other cross-country trips.

Great Place

The property was clean and updated. There’s a beautiful back yard for a dog to run and play. We cooked out on the grill one evening. There’s plenty of seating on the patio for everyone to relax and visit. Our stay was enjoyable and the location is convenient for downtown and the hospital. We traveled with our little dog and the back fence is large cattle wire so he had to stay on a leash. We would definitely like to stay here again!

I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the amenities. House was clean, warm (winter stay), and the beds were very comfortable. My wife said she really like the color scheme for whatever that's worth. The dog and the rest of us enjoyed the backyard. The one thing concerning us when we booked was that the location looked like an industrial neighborhood. But the location turned out to be one of the better features. The neighborhood was quiet and we were an easy walk to the Bosque River Trail and the restaurants on the square. Will stay there again, if we get the chance.

Great Place to Stay!

Traveling to South Texas we needed an overnight place to stay. We booked "The Hive" and are so glad we did! The place was spotless, had covered parking (that came in handy with the overnight storms), a huge fenced backyard for privacy, a king bed with one of the most comfortable mattresses and pillows ever, and great communication with the property owners! There is only one other house on the block and nothing worth seeing out front, but the back is where it's at with a big open space of nothing but nature and complete privacy. It was very quiet! Coffee and snacks were provided. There are several great restaurants in the area. If we are ever needing a place to stay around that area of Texas again, The Hive will be our go-to...it's a great place to stay and unwind!

I was so happy to see that the coffee was available with creamer (which I had forgotten to pack), as well as a nice stash of snacks! Cute & Quiet

The hive is a cute theme little property! We came for orientation at Tarleton and stayed here. A few snacks and waters were provided and the coffee bar was a blessing.
