"We enjoyed our stay at Shangri-La. We had extended family with us for a graduation and the house was exactly what we needed. The two bedrooms and full bath on the main level was perfect for the grandparents. The location was so peaceful. The house had everything we needed to cook for the entire family."

"This property was exactly what we were looking for. We enjoyed our stay immensely. It fit our family of 4 very nicely. The view from the cabin was beautiful. If you have a boat, there is a dock you can tie up to. I will say the stairs to the dock are very steep and may be challenging for older guests, but they did not bother us. The owner was responsive and easy to work with."

"We loved the cozy living room and amazing screen porch. There was plenty of space for our two young kids, us, and my sister! There was a huge and super comfy sectional sofa and a great fireplace that we made an awesome fire in with the firewood that the hosts left for us. We had a great time hanging out in the house since it rained most of the weekend and was pretty cold. When it did clear up a little, the view from the dock was gorgeous! Had we not had two small children and our dog running around threatening to go swimming when they didn't have the skills, and if it hadn't been raining, it would have been the place we hung out the most probably. It was set up for hanging out, with adirondack chairs and hammocks and a table for eating and playing games. Turns out, however, that the screen porch was a better fit for our chaos:) We also really enjoyed playing fusbol in the basement room. Plus they had a pack n play for our 1 year old so we didn't have to pack our own! One thing we did miss was that we had to provide our own linens, so we totally forgot that, but the owner was amazing and kind enough to let us borrow a set that they had and wash them in their washing machine. And he was incredibly responsive to all of our needs!! Soooo I'll leave you with this, don't forget your towels and sheets!!!!!!!!"

"It was a perfect setting for a much needed getaway and rest. Very well equipped with everything needed to enjoy ourselves. Husband asked if we could stay a couple of extra days-after checking it was already booked. I told him that we would be back. Had a great time fishing off the dock and just hanging around. And added surprise was the gentleman that played the bagpipes every evening a little after 5pm.....Amazing Grace. I being slightly physically handicapped the stairs were a little narrow but I managed and would still return and recommend such a wonderful place. A true gem among the giants......such a beautiful and natural setting. Run to book this historical cabin."
