"This is the second time we stay at this beautiful place. Great location, comfortable rooms, good food, and most importantly amazing staff that always go the extra mile to make your stay a special one. Special thanks go to Mr. José Mendez who always makes sure that all guests are having a wonderful time. Furthermore, the swimming pool is very nice and heated, and we really enjoyed the mini-golf and the little steam next to it. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our two week stay. A well equipped house and the fresh water pool was a delight. The views are lovely. Arie was a great host (don't forget to ask for directions). A great getaway location with easy access (30 mins by car) to Beaches, Porto, Amarante, River Duoro etc. There is much to do in the area: sight seeing, walking, riding bikes, train ride, swimming in the sea and rivers. Everyone we came across was very friendly. We'd love to come back!"

"Lovely spacious villa with plenty of room for 10-12 people, and lots of dining and sitting space inside, and outdoor space. It was very warm during our stay, and as the villa doesn't have air conditioning it did get warm inside. Some more fans would be useful, as opening windows does increase outside noise. There was no-one staying in the second property by the water but don't think it would have changed our opinion. Fit, finish and cleanliness of the villa were all excellent, the gardens were immaculate and the pool was large enough for two teenage boys not to feel constrained. "Rooms were very modern and attractive. The rainhead shower was excellent. The kitchen was handy. The room had a safe but the safe wasn't bolted to anything, thus we didn't feel if was useful. Tip: be sure to choose a room on the top floor so you don't get the sounds of people walking around at 600am. The staff was very helpful. The location was perfect! "
