More of a location for decompresion than chocked full of activities. Miles of beach to walk on, especially good at low tide where a 100 yards of the beach is exposed. "We were notified ahead of time that the pool was not available and could cancel the reservation even though the internet said non-refundable. We stayed there anyway but appreciated the effort. We arrived late and tired on a Thursday and were told that it is the one night each week that the restaurant is closed. This was frustrating for us. Wish they noted that on the amenities list. "This is a truly great place to stay! It is at the end of Jaco Beach which makes it very quiet yet very convenient. The hotel is very clean and homey. It has a great little bar and restaurant area with very good food. There is also a small outside bar near the pool and beach. Security at the hotel is excellent. Many of the staff here have worked here for years. I have stayed here many times now and it truly is always great!"
