Charming hotel in a great location - plenty of restaurants, bars and shopping all within walking distance.
The staff was amazing and so friendly. They even upgraded our room and sent up a bottle of champagne when they learned it was my husband and I's anniversary.
Great experience overall!
Lots of history happened in this building. Pretty cool to see such a well preserved landmark. Killer location downtown, close to lots of shopping and even the convention center. The restaurant at the Columbia Club is one of the finest I've eaten in awhile.
We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back! We went the Sunday of the Indy 500 - but didn't realize that the 500 was even that weekend. But you'd never have known that one of racing's biggest events was even taking place. The hotel was quiet (as was the city) and it was truly enjoyable! We can't wait to go back to the Hilton - and stay for an even longer visit!
I was one of the first guests to stay at this property opening week almost a year ago. Since, I have had the opportunity be a guest at this property over a dozen times. The staff always makes you feel like family, so if your looking for a property that isn't so cookie cutter then I would highly recommend. In short, Frank and his team do an amazing job.
The hotel was very nice and centrally located, making it perfect for walking around the city. The hotel staff was very nice and helpful. However, when we got to the hotel to check in, there were no rooms ready/available to us. When we finally got a room key, we walked in and found out that it had already been given to another couple. We then had to wait even longer for an available room. The communication seemed to be lacking a little between house keeping and the front desk. They did however comp us breakfast in the morning, which I will say was very good. Overall, it was a good stay.
The capital of Indiana, this city of 782,000 is best known for hosting the Indy 500 every May at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The Indianapolis Colts (football) and Indiana Pacers (basketball), play at Conseco Fieldhouse and the RCA Dome-Lucas Oil Stadium, respectively. Other noteworthy attractions include the NCAA Hall of Champions and the Indianapolis Zoo.
