Hotels near Donington Park Racing Circuit

Excellent accommodating staff, wonderful food and lovely setting. I stayed in the main house but I was told that the cottages are very interesting.

First major problem was that the 'hotel' had changed it's name to Harpurs so I drove around the village for half an hour, after a long day, trying to find it. There was no parking, so had to scrabble around for alot of change to park. Only 6 tables for dinner so I didn't get to eat there. Rest of the village had poor facilities. Nice look restaurant next door was closed. Another pub in the village was going to ring the chef at home and ask him to come in, no thanks! Several dogs in the 'hotel' and one had distributed most of it's water bowl over the pub floor. Saniflo facilities in the bathroom smelt. I left early and drove through the night to get home!

Again, a good experience on a 2 night business trip. Restaurant excellent (order the lamb!), but the shower was rather feeble.

Overnight stop enroute to destination. Staff very friendly and helpful. Pleased to find room including the settee-bed made ready for our daughter. Good size room. Despite being busy it was very quiet. Reasonable level of comfort for both beds. Breakfast included was adequate and eaten in pleasant surroundings. We will use Holiday Inn Express again. Very impressed by quality.

This lovely modern hotel close to east midlands airport and Castle Donnington, spent 2 nights there everybody from reception, bar, waiting staff all very friendly and helpful.

We always stay at this hotel before a holiday - whether it is an early flight or not! Transfer both to and from the airport is always quick and efficient and the hotel rooms are really, really lovely.

Hi bed and breakfast was great, stay was nice, comfortable, breakfast was lovely, hosts very friendly, bedroom a little warm in morning, heating would not go off, but was a really hot day, parking a little tight at the side, but road was quiet out the front to park, at, when we came back late after the wedding. Only thing i would say is, that online when I booked I put two adults and one child aged (1+) and it totaled £ but when leaving was asked if I had booked double, not a family booking which I had not, but on the print off said two adults(which I had mentioned to my husband but we thought it was because my daughter was under 2, but I definitely put 1 child 1+, was not asked for paper work on arrival for booking, was mentioned by host on leaving, we paid £5 extra as we did not mind but I definitely think there was an error on system when booking, It just made it feel a little awkward, as when booking this would not have been a problem.

All staff very accommodating. When we arrived our room wasn't ready so they set us up in the lounge with complimentary coffee whilst we waited.
