"Very nice hotel that is centrally located. We walked everywhere during the day. Close to central market, central avenue, museums, parks, and restaurants. We did not walk around after dark due to safety concerns, but really enjoyed the happy hour at the hotel. Oscar makes some great drinks. The strawberry daiquiris, margaritas, and mojitos are delicious. We also appreciated the daily breakfast. It is very good. All of the hotel staff are very kind and helpful. "I stayed there with my husband and we found the staff very accommodating and helpful. The property is close to downtown SJO and within walking distance to many attractions. There was always a taxi on stand-by so getting to further attractions was easy. The room was large and they cleaned and restocked toiletries daily. The gym was a little small but ample if you’re into maintaining your routine Overall a great experience. "
