"I love a good heritage property, even one without a lift. This might be a dealbreaker for acutely afflicted people, but there is a dumbwaiter for moving luggage to upper floors if one is borderline challenged. If I had a choice, I might avoid this location on a Saturday night unless you have SUPER earplugs. Right off a really festive area with pub leavers til 3:30am. Everything else was absolutely lovely."

"Pam was very helpful at check in , explaining everything about the hotel and assisting with dinner reservations. Delightful staff attitude reflected at the well organised breakfast room with a good selection of freshly made items combined with a buffet cooked to order by friendly staff. The 6.00 happy hour with free wine is another bonus and an opportunity for guests to mingle. The underground car park is convenient and has a lift for baggage. "

"The hotel is a uniquely decorated boutique hotel. It was about a 10 minute walk from the tourist info bldg. and a quick walk to the food alley and the waterfront promenade. We were allocated a very spacious suite on ground level in the bdlg. close to the hotel entrance. However, the room had its drawbacks. The TV is located too far from the beds for easy viewing ... we assume the designers assumed people would sit on the sofa to watch . Our room had a locked connecting door to an adjacent room ....

"I have stayed at 'The Kinson' (and predecessor names) for over 10 years on my annual trips to Melbourne and I'm never disappointed. The Albert Park location is very pleasant, the rooms are spacious and very well appointed, and it's only a 100m walk to trams to the city."

"A lovely restored heritage Hotel. We loved the old world ambience. A step back in time! On arrival we were upgraded to room 816 on the 8th floor. A spacious room with a large Bathroom. Shower had great hot water, and a rainwater shower head. The bed was very comfortable, although a little softer than we prefer. The only disappointment was the Breakfast in Reagh Bar. The Hot food was quite cold when we went for Breakfast at 8.30am. We would not have the Breakfast here again. There is an...
