Independent, Colorado Springs Hotels

Enjoyed my stay here. The only thing I would recommend is that the hotel add a bell or buzzer of some kind to the front desk. I had a late check in because I was driving all the way from Wisconsin and no one was at the front desk when I arrived. There was also no bell or buzzer or anything for me to alert that I was there. I had to wait long enough that I was about to walk out to call the hotel to see if that would get an answer when someone finally came out to the front desk.

The staff at TravelLodge was very helpful. We had no trouble checking in or out. I would highly recommend this motel to anyone.

The staff was very friendly and when we asked about restaurants nearby they suggested a Mexican restaurant next door - it was so good - we ate lunch there and went back for dinner. The owner was there and was very helpful. Our first room was right by the entrance door and they moved us without a problem. The room had a slight cigarette smell and when I asked for an air freshener the front desk gentleman got us one right away from housekeeping. Breakfast was fresh and the staff was replenishing it right away and cleaning up. All in all for the price and staying for one night it was good.

Leo and Joyce make you feel like family the moment you walk in the door. We were a bit scared at first to eat breakfast with everyone, but Leo and Joyce make sure everyone is comfortable. My girlfriend and I loved the room (Durango) and REALLY enjoyed the two-person tub. I'm 6'1" and she is 5'3", but i still fit pretty well. Stay here. The rooms are great, staff is amazing, and food is good too.

Overall very satisfied with my stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Everything (but one) was delightful and we will definitely come again. The only problem that we had was with the air conditioner (Room 275); it was very loud and not efficient. It was hard to sleep over that amount of noise.

I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay, great staff, great food, I had a very enjoyable stay.

On top of the wonderful customer service and delicious food, the view out of my balcony is what sold me on The Lodge. I will be returning.
