"This is not in Interlaken. This is about 4 miles outside of Interlaken. To get there you get off the train at Interlaken West and then catch bus 106 to Habkern Post. The bus times can be found on the SBB app. Last bus runs about 7pm, don’t miss it or the taxi will run you about $47 Swiss Francs. This is an old Chalet being run by a sweet young couple. It needs renovation but they are wonderful and it is very clean. I did not enjoy the shared bath but shame on me for not paying attention to...

"What a wonderful place to stay. Friendly staff, management, and owners. I got delayed on my way into Imterlaken and the manager stayed a bit after closing to make sure I got in. Top notch hospitality! This hotel is a perfect home base for exploring the Jungfrau region. Affordable and comfortable. highly recommend getting breakfast as part of your stay. I will be staying here again next time I am in Interlaken. Cheers!"

"We absolutely loved our stay here. As Americans visiting Switzerland for the first time, this property was super unique to us. We had incredible service and felt so welcomed. Just note that there is no TV in the room (who needs it with views like that) and the walk up to the hotel is pretty steep. If we ever come back to this area we will for sure stay here again. "

"Parking is available for off-season, however I can only assume parking is a nightmare during high season. Beds are European twins, so small, don't expect larger. "This place is amazing. Beautiful location. Stunning scenery. Quick walk from Grindelwald station. Right across from Grindelwald First Cable Car. The staff are all so helpful and friendly. Great amenities. Make sure you have a drink at the bar. Bartender Diogo will look after you. Great service and the best banter. Very welcoming and friendly and an asset to the hotel. "
