"The hotel was in a great location was very walkable to dining and shopping. My room was on the first floor and was fairly noisy at night due to foot traffic and nightlife nearby. I'd recommend asking for a room away from the street and on a higher floor to mitigate the sound if you want a quiet night. "

"This is a majestic, regal property perfectly situated right in the waterfront. Noice could be an issue with the windows open, but not at all with them closed. We had an early train from Bergen, so the staff arranged for us to have a breakfast package to take with us. "

"The breakfast buffet here was fabulous. I also enjoyed the large soaking tub in my room. The location was perfect. It was a bit noisy at night because there was a club across the street, but I had good earplugs. There were many tripping hazards in the hallways and in the room, so would not recommend for the elderly, but it is a historic building. I’d stay here again. "
