"An excellent hotel in a great location. The area immediately surrounding the property is very pleasant and is conveniently located with all Bergen attractions being within easy walking distance. The terminus of the light Railway from the airport is only a few minutes walk away. You really can’t go wrong. It is clean, comfortable and the staff are so helpful and genuinely friendly. "This is a majestic, regal property perfectly situated right in the waterfront. Noice could be an issue with the windows open, but not at all with them closed. We had an early train from Bergen, so the staff arranged for us to have a breakfast package to take with us. "

"The breakfast buffet here was fabulous. I also enjoyed the large soaking tub in my room. The location was perfect. It was a bit noisy at night because there was a club across the street, but I had good earplugs. There were many tripping hazards in the hallways and in the room, so would not recommend for the elderly, but it is a historic building. I’d stay here again. "

"Stayed for a long weekend. The check in experience was amazing, we arrived earlier than anticipated and just wanted to drop our bags off, so did not expect our room to be ready at noon. When we arrived we were informed that a room was ready and that we could check in. The room however was extremely small and the bathroom even smaller.
