"Trip away was a disaster"
I booked the hotel back in April together with tickets for the MotoGP at Silverstone. After driving the best part of 3 hours we arrived at the hotel, only to find they had no reference of the booking. I had printed off my copy of conformation and reference number e-mailed to me by expedia, this didn't help in anyway. We were then told that we would be lucky to find any rooms for miles because of the event at Silverstone. (this was the reason I booked in April) The hotel owner told us he was having trouble with expedia bookings around that time so it must have been lost then. With that we left the hotel drove for another 3 hours home again, only to have to do it all again the next day. As this was a birthday gift for my wife I was very disappointed. So would I use expedia again NO would I use the same hotel NO

Pocket Guide: Oxfordshire Banbury Independent Hotels

Banbury is a bustling market town in North Oxfordshire. It is known largely for its famed Banbury Cakes, and for the old English nursery rhyme, Ride a cock horse to Banbury Cross. There remains a cross in the town centre along with a statue of the lady on her horse. Nearby Cropredy, 4 miles along the Oxford Canal, hosts one of Britain's biggest folk festivals every August.
