"Very hard to find, then when you finally get there it’s not marked—looks like a house, and then they send you to another location. And finally, when we got to our room, we were told the water would be shut off from 10-4am., but they would provide a gallon of water. But they didn’t bring the water and the waiter was shut off before 10. Then they finally brought some water. The room had lots of closet space and bathroom had a lot of places to set things. The shower was cold only."

The bedding looked like it had been washed by putting it in a sink. The shower had grime in the corners and where you had to stand. there was no shower curtain so when you showered the bathroom floor would be a giant puddle when you were done. "For reference we stayed in Atenas Costa Rica April 14th through April 19th. The house is gorgeous, and the view from the backyard is stunning. On two separate occasions toucans came to the tree in the backyard to feed on the berries. We also had 6 head of cows/ bulls wander up one morning while we enjoyed coffee on the back porch. "It’s true, the pictures do not do this justice! My husband and I spent 14 beautiful days at the Villa along with another couple. We were warmly greeted by the caretaker, Elias. If we needed anything, we communicated with him using WhatsApp. He even arranged for a Taxi to pick us up one evening so we could go out to dinner.
