The pretty terrace is totally private & great for relaxing. Next to a main road (& Villa Sigurd which gets rented out for events), so it can be a bit noisy. We would highly recommend this house and return here."

Lots of restaurants within a short walking distance. Located right on a lovely sandy beach which doesn't get too busy. Main house has 1 double and 1 twin bedroom. "If you are a young family with kids wanting to spend the day out and then come home to sleep with no regarding for comfort or relaxing, this is the place. It is one step above camping and probably will suit certain guests. For me the place was extremely disappointing. As you arrived the first thing you saw was the sand pit of a garden with a broken down table and four chairs. No flower pots, no signs of care or making it look loved. "Hello, we loved our stay in Arcachon in the Ville D’hiver. The house was close to Arcachon centre, the market and the Pereire beach. Our only issue was that the house was hot at night, even with the shutters closed all day. No fans were provided."

"We travelled from the UK to spend 3 weeks at this property. There is a lot of outside space to eat and relax in. It is very well equipped. Location is excellent - beach, train station and town centre all within 0.5km walking distance. The property has 2 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms and a living room with a pull out bed. So you should check it fits your group’s requirements. Arcachon is lovely. We would recommend the boat bus to Plage de Moulleau and a day trip to Cap Forret is more expensive but...
