"My daughter and I celebrated a late Mother's Day trip at Guy Harvey Resort. I planned to create a pro/con list for this review, but the visit was all pros! First of all, the stellar staff made our stay amazing. My daughter mentioned anyone who worked there seemed to actually like their job! They upgraded our room without hesitation, when they realized Expedia booked a standard instead of a partial view room. Then to our surprise, they had our room ready way before check in. (We were just gonna store our luggage and return at check in time) Instead, we were able to go to the room and change, hit the beach and experience the joys Guy Harvey Resort offered. The beach was clean, uncrowded and beautiful. Be it morning walks, seashell hunting, toes in the sand doing nothing, and countless other things, the beach was the best part of the visit and only steps away from the pool area. The Tiki Hut by the pool had a pleasant, fast, and fun bartender. The pool had plenty of chairs. Every morning we were greeted by a couple of ducks in the pool area. The room was clean, complete with a coffee bar, microwave, fridge and safe. Guy Harvey even has a free guest laundry room complete with soap and dryer sheets. Guy Harvey artwork and surfboards are displayed throughout the Resort for sale. The Santiago restaurant/bar is convenient, but explored other options nearby as well. I highly recommend this resort. We will be returning."

"I stumbled upon this hotel because it was a great price for our week stay for our honeymoon, and I am more than happy I chose it. The staff was amazing, and the location is great. It’s only a 2 minute walk to the beach. They were under renovation, but it never bothered us. We were suppose to have a jacuzzi tub in our room, but we didn’t get it because of the remodel, which was totally fine. They gave us a discount for it not being exactly what we booked. The only thing I could even complain about is there not being a light over the vanity counter. But there is a lamp beside it, so I wasn’t really bothered. Overall, this was a WONDERFUL experience and I’m so happy I found this hotel. If I ever visit St. Augustine again, this is where I will stay."

"Room was clean, well-made and homey. Shower was probably the nicest I've ever seen at a hotel. Manager was very polite, and even showed us to our room. Location was fantastic for us; within about 10 minutes of almost everything, including the beach and the Castillo de San Marcos. Would definitely stay here again. "

"Excellent services. The room was super clean and comfortable. The breakfast amazing! The only thing that we considered was to expensive was the valet parking... $39 per day tax it was a little too much."
