"We had a most enjoyable stay at Breitner House! It was the highlight of this trip to Amsterdam (which is saying quite a lot). Camilla is a charming hostess! She proudly told us the history of the house, and served a sumptuous, delicious, and beautifully appointed full breakfast. (She thoughtfully accommodated our dietary restrictions.) "I would stay here over and over, this was our second trip to Amsterdam and we tried 2 hotels during our first trip but nothing beats Casa. It really feels like a home away from home. The area it’s in is pretty quiet but it safe and close to the metro allowing you to get to Centraal easily. There’s a cafe in the lobby as well as a small convenience store with self check out. "

"My only comment is that there could be a card by the heating/cooling thermostat saying if you have the window open the air conditioning won’t work. We were very warm at night. "

"Love the way the hotel is in a historic looking building but they made the inside modern. Also the location on Oosterpark is quite lovely. The breakfast buffet was very good, staff helpful. A tram stop is right up the street, all in all a wonderful hotel."

"We were worried that this hotel was going to be too far out of the city centre but the trains were a quick and easy way to get about. The hotel amenities were great and we enjoyed a coffee beside the canal each morning before we started our day. "
