We (2 couples) stayed at this property from 3 Oct to 11 Oct 2014. This hotel met all our criteria - great rooms, right on the beach, infinity type pool and located next to the main market place. Both of our rooms were big, had electronic controls, 42 inch plasma, bathroom with Jacuzzi and great comfy bed that was serviced by great staff. Both front desk girls (Tai & Oun) were very helpful and the travel agent (Gam) was fantastic. I even like to recommend the concierge (both Chan & Toto) for recommending places to visit (do's n don'ts), giving us updates on the weather etc. One tip for fellow travelers - hire the motorbike/scooters from the hotel as they won't keep your passport as a bond.
Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Stayed in the hillside section which has its own pool and restaurant. The beach-side section also has its own pool and restaurant with beautiful views of the beach and sea. The additional cost of living beach-side is not worth the extra expense. The hill-side rooms are excellent; good size rooms and a very large bathroom. The balcony is spacious and provided glimpses of the sea and pool.
The reception staff were very helpful and promptly dealt with any request. The housekeeping girls were very friendly and did everything with a smile. The buffet breakfast was very good and would satisfy most people except for the whinging brigade that are never happy.
The hotel is located about a fifteen minute walk to the main Chaweng Beach area. Baht buses are frequent but in the daytime a pleasant walk along the beach is very enjoyable. I would definitely stay at this hotel again
the hotel is surrounded by a tropical scene could not get a better location quiet peaceful not to far in a taxi to get in the hussel and bussel of thing like lamai or chewang .only a 10 minute stroll to the beach the whole side of that part of the holiday was like being in paradise I well recommend it to anyone with familys or couples .the hotel staff was 5* accommodating polite and very helpful there was no language barrier between us .weel reccommend

"A cosy boutique beach resort with beautiful views"
We had a wonderful 10 night stay at 'The Sea' in a 2 bedroom suite on the third floor with absolutely gorgeous views of the beach. Our room was spacious and well-equipped (kitchenette, washing machine/dryer and jacuzzi) which was perfect for our family (2 Adults and 2 Children). Both the breakfast/restaurant menus were sufficient and Staff accommodating.
A few days were spent lazing around the pool, walking along the beach down to a nice secluded swimming beach approximately 500 meters away from the resort. Unfortunately, the beach in front of the resort is rocky with coral which restricted swimming. A majority of our stay was spent exploring Koh Samui island ( hired a car and travelled around the island, different beaches (Chewang for the kids, Lipa Noi), elephant ride, waterfalls, shopping etc but was nice to come back to our cosy room in the evening. The Staff were absolutely fabulous assisting us in anyway possible which made it so special for us and especially the children! Special thanks to Pee, Bee, Ging, Troy, Ed and our Shuttle driver..

It had a lovely pool, cleaned daily, and very short walk to the beach and great internet. Bed was a bit hard for us, and the kitchen could have done with a few more utensils like microwave and toaster but other than that sunshine residences was great. People must check in at milky bay resort, you can't find sunshine residences on your own. Great place to have a few friends stay at as I can sleep 4 comfortably.
My husband and I just returned from staying at the Peace Resort and were so so so very happy! We initially booked for 2 nights just incase we wernt happy and could look around and change whilst there. The moment we walked into the resort we were so impressed! The staff are ever so friendly and the bungalows are amazing! We stayed in the Superior Bungalow which is the cheapest and it was amazing. My husband and I have high expectations anyway but this was so good for such little cost. The gardens are imaculate and the walk to our bungalow was just beautiful. The free buffet breakfast was just delicious and a different selection of food daily :-) the view from the restaurant is just breathtaking and the pool and the lounging area couldnt have been any better! I would recommend the resort to anyone and we cannot wait to take our 3 kids next time. We went in the second week of October and it only rained twice for about 10 minutes, the rest of the time it was sunny and warm :-) Whats even better is the walk to fishermans village where the restaurants and markets are was only 10 minutes walk along the beach :-) We ate at the more expensive places most nights but on the last night we thought we would try a restaurant up one of the alleys and it was the best meal of the whole week and for a quarter of the price! Cant wait to go back. Love the Thai people they are so happy and friendly. Peace Resort has 5 stars from us :-)
