We (a couple) arrived at Code in the evening after some delays and the staff members - Faith in particular - were ready for us and made us feel very welcome. The staff and Manager were very helpful throughout our stay yet not overbearing. The hotel was very quiet during our stay however the hotel still ran its full services (full breakfast service, spa service etc) which I appreciated. The hotel is up a little hill into the jungle off the main island ring road, and the hotel will take you up or down whenever you want (they give you a phone to ring for pickup). We hired a car from the hotel which was very easy (although we couldn't quite work out the insurance coverage situation because the contract was vague). The hotel is very clean and tidy. I would recommend Code to anyone who doesn't want to be right in the middle of the party action - it was nice to be able to get away from the stress. The local beach down from the hotel was nice for swimming and secluded but still with several dining options. My favourite afternoon of the trip was sitting on that beach in the sun eating, drinking and swimming. We had a top floor room which was great for the views but a bit hard to walk up to if you left something in the room! There are no lifts - which is fine if you don't mind a bit of exercise and are able. The food at the hotel is more expensive than in island restaurants but still reasonable and yum. Overall Samui was a great island to visit with a mix of adventuring and relaxing.

We stayed at the Akyra Chura Samui for two nights in February 2014 and had a great and relaxing visit.
The hotel location is great - directly on the beach on the north end of Chaweng Beach. There are a number of quality beach chairs on the beach and also at the adjacent pool. We spent most of our time there enjoying the sun and the great relaxing music. A 7-11 is located across the street from the hotel, which was nice to easily pick up drinks and some snacks when needed.
The in-hotel restaurant was enjoyable - in complimentary breakfast was delicious and so was both dinners we had there.
The room was very comfortable - soft mattress with duvet blankets and a/c. Overhead rain shower and two sinks were appreciated in the bathroom.

We had a great one week stay here.
Its right by the beach, comfortable rooms, great food and very friendly staff. The spa and massages and treatments were all tried out and all excellent. The hotel is clean, rooms spacious and the gardens all really well looked after. Very luxurious with a nice personal feel and much nicer than the big international brand hotel next door.

I and my partner stayed in a beachside pool villa for 4 days. It was the perfect luxurious finale to a long and sometimes tough trip through other countries. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the villa very nice, the beach and public pool area spacious and pleasant, the food and drinks good and not overpriced. The design of the villa, with its airconditioned sleeping pavilion and 'outdoor' bathroom/shower, with private pool and large bath, all in a very private walled retreat, made the stay seem more 'exotic' and special than just another suite. A bit outside central Mae Nam, but a choice of convenience stores, travel agents, restaurants and bars less than 5 minutes walk from the gate. Taxis available inside or outside the resort to take you anywhere else on the island. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!

Everything was amazing. Staff are very attentive by pool bringing water and fruit. Two pools to choose from and even though the resort was fully booked when were there it didn't seem crowded at all. Always a lounger by the pool available. Cocktail of the day was priced well at 150bhat. Breakfast is made to order as well as the buffet. Would love to stay here again. Only thing to note is that bed are pretty hard.
