I was really worried about the apartment I booked after reading the reviews on Trip Advisor etc. I then took the view that as long as the sheets were clean and the shower and toilet worked what more could you want for a 2 weeks holiday costing less than £250.
To my joy the appartment was clean and tidy, the sheets clean, the beds comfortable, the loo and shower worked but on top of all this the staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful. The whole place was filled with relaxed residents some old, some young, some with families, some returning there year after year. Of course it was basic but you get what you pay for but the atmosphere of the price made it one of my most enjoyable holidays yet.
It was like a home from home but with the added bonus of sunshine. I can't wait to go back. The hotel is currenlty being spruced up so any comments you read about it needed a lick of paint have been addressed.
The room was fine as a budget option, plenty of space and clean. However, bathroom smelt strongly of fish, sound proofing was non existent and weirdly there were no curtains, only net coverings. Staff were friendly and swimming pool nice. Very convenienfly located.

I think the hotel was great, nice and peaceful and relaxing, i didn't use the restaurant as cooked for myself, my choice completely. the pool on the roof is great and plenty of sunbeds to wile away the hrs relaxing. The beach is lovely as well and literally few mins walk, very much a come for a while and go sort of beach as people popped down for a swim and sunbathe and then carried on their normal day, so relaxing to see. The road directly opposite takes you to the square and shops galore and the next road to the right of the hotel is the bus station and bigger supermarket. All in all you could eat, drink and relax no matter where you went in any direction. I would thoroughly recommend it, far enough away for peace, yet still near to anything a bit more lively like clubs or live music. Some roads are a bit steep but you can avoid them and still get to where you want. I have walking difficulties but was able to sit down and rest if need be with no problems. The buses run to lots of places and the fares are cheap and so are the taxis. You can get the 343 bus straight to and from north and south airports for a lovely ride to see the sights to starts you holiday off.

A good hotel in a Spanish town. Not a tourist hotel, and it doesn't do meals. A very big room, a good hot shower with plenty of water pressure, and one of the most comfortable hotel beds I've ever had.
The hotel is above a shopping centre, and you need to take the lift to the second floor to find reception.
Everything was perfect. Easy check-in, friendly staff, beautiful large room overlooking Plaza de Espana. Great breakfast and dinner if you do the half board. Excellent location walkable from major bus station. It is maybe 2 kilometers but easy walk and beautiful walk as well. If you walk to the plaza de Espana and look up the road, you will see one on the right and left of the street about a block up. They are owned by same people.
