Lindy Klim’s Top Tips for Taking the Kids to Singapore
Balinese princess, former model and fashion entrepreneur, Lindy Klim splits her time between Bali and Sydney, but for a special family holiday decided to head to Singapore – here are her tips on how to have a great family holiday!
Singapore is an amazing playground for the whole family to enjoy! We certainly had a blast when my partner and three children, Stella, Rocco and Frankie spent a few days exploring the markets, experiencing the local culture and of course, hitting the theme parks!
This is one country that has it all – for kids and for adults. Every day was a different adventure. We felt safe and never ran out of anything to do. The biggest challenge was fitting it all in. Here are a few of our favourite spots:
Singapore Mermaid School
Bring out your inner mermaid at Singapore Mermaid School! It’s a chance for silliness – Stella and Frankie loved doing this with mum. The lesson itself was like a swimming lesson. We were diving in our mermaid tails for “precious gems”. The girls have these tails at home but it was a great experience to learn how to use them properly from a real-life Singaporean mermaid!
Universal Studios Singapore
Get ready for a long day at Universal Studios, make sure you wear comfy shoes! The rides, the characters, the attractions – the kids charged around excitedly deciding where to go next the entire time. All the kids loved the Madagascar attraction the most. But whatever the age group you can find a good time. In fact, the hardest part was home time!
