Mixing the beauty of Ibiza with a calm atmosphere away from the nightlife of the busy town, Cala Gracio is the perfect destination. Walk along the beaches soft, white sands, and then dive into the Mediterranean Sea. Many ferries from mainland Spain arrive at San Antonio, which is within walking distance from the beach.
This is an ideal beach for swimming due to the deep cove it is situated on, which means that the waters are protected from big waves and currents. Come here with the family and build sandcastles in the sand or, for a more lively experience, take part in a waterfront ball game. Join in the many beach activities such as swimming, snorkelling, or in the high season, rent a pedalo from a kiosk and paddle in the bay.

For those interested in the club scene, follow the winding path from the beach to San Antonio. Just 2 kilometres (1.2 miles) away, it is Ibiza’s second-largest town. San Antonio is known as the “Clubbing Capital of the Universe” and has three main districts: the bar strip of West End, the clubs at the Sunset Strip and the harbour-side boardwalk of Passeig de ses Fonts.
The quietest time to enjoy Cala Gracio is in the off-seasons, which are winter, spring and autumn. Summer is the busy season when crowds of Europeans come to take in the sun. If the nightlife of San Antonio takes your fancy, the best months to come are June, July, August and early September.
