As you walk up the Flume Gorge, this sight greets you. An amazing waterfall and the boardwalks take you right to the top of it. Just as cool to look down the gorge.

Kinsman Falls is one of many waterfalls found on Cascade Brook in Franconia Notch State Park. Unlike the other waterfalls on this brook, it falls vertically into a deep pool, providing a refreshing place to cool off when the current isn't moving too swiftly. Kinsman Falls is about 20 feet tall and remarkably narrow. It takes a half-mile hike along the Basin Cascade Trail to reach, which weeds out some of the crowds that swarm the Franconia Notch Valley.

Westboro Railroad yard was at one time a major hub for freight and passenger rail, including a turntable, maintenance building, and a large bunkhouse for railroad workers. The line ran between Boston, Mass. and Montreal, Canada. This engine still works a short freight line between White River Junction, Vermont and West Lebanon, NH. The Claremont and Concord Railroad brings carloads of cement and propane the 1 mile over the Connecticut River. For now, this is all that remains of that proud legacy.
