Great clean place to stay with a great tiki bar/restaurant/pool and fabulous dive/snorkle center on site with a fabulous crew that takes you to the protected Looe Key Reef. Highly recommend the water trip over anything in Key West,

The photos on Expedia are misleading. They look edited to make the rooms look far cleaner and nicer than they actually are. In our room’s photo, for instance, the TV isn’t shown, but it’s mounted less than a foot from the edge of the bed. The gap between the bed and the wall was already tight (just a foot or two), and with the TV jutting out, we had to contort ourselves to squeeze past without hitting our heads, which I did, more than once. We booked the queen room with a kitchenette, and the issues started right away. The TV didn’t work, so we had to call maintenance. The main light fixture (a dusty ceiling fan) turned out to be unplugged, and the outlet wasn’t visible, so at first we assumed it was just broken. The kitchenette had no sponge, no dish soap, and a dirty pot. Even after maintenance fixed the TV, the volume button still didn’t work. The set was glitchy, and the picture only filled about 75% of the screen, leaving a big black border around everything we watched. Ashtrays are placed on every porch table, and cigarette smoke drifted into our room sometimes. Looking back at the Expedia photos, we had to laugh at the breakfast picture. It showed a long table covered in several plates of a variety of fresh fruit. The actual breakfast was a bowl of pineapple, a bowl of hard boiled eggs, prepackaged cereal, and some bread items. Nothing like what was advertised. We ended up cutting our stay short by a day and moved somewhere nicer.
