We liked the convenient location. The staff, room and amenities were good. Only disappointment was load construction that we didn’t know about making it hard to relax by the pool.

I complained about the noise in my room the first night.
Next morning they called me to move me to a much quieter room.

The resort has attractive grounds and pools, and the direct access to the pool from some rooms was an excellent feature. However, communication with staff was poor with calls to reception often going unanswered. Food quality did not meet expectations for a 5 star resort in Thailand. Pool room had an unusual jungle gym type design that took away from the potential.
