Our room (suite with mountain view) was more than enough for our one night stay in Lake Tekapo.. Based off some other slightly negative reviews, it may just depend on which type of room you book. Otherwise, our room was clean, comfortable, and we had no issue with noise or any of the amenities. Our room was situated towards the back of the resort - not sure if that makes a difference with noise level. My partner and I appreciated having the ability to walk to the lake/town center. Checking in and out was also a smooth and quick process for us.

If fly screen installed in the property, with the fan or air conditioner then the property is perfect. At night, lots of insects if you open the sliding door or any windows.
