The Hermitage Hotel Mount Cook

The Hermitage Hotel Mount Cook

8/10 Good
"I booked a standard room w/ one King bed, which is the least expensive option. The room is super clean, but it is small. I have difficulty to open both of luggage at a time, and there's no desk nor table in my room. The bathroom is very roomy, In my case, it is too roomy, since it makes the rest of the living area pretty small. True, it is super clean and well maintained. To me, my 4 stars is mainly is the dinning situation. There are only 2 restaurants in this hotel. They only open one restaurant at a time. One only do buffet and the other one is a cafe + offer casual meal. For example, the cafe opens at 10AM. From 7-10AM, your only choice is their buffet. If you don't like buffet at that time, you need to drive 2 mins to their sister facility next to The Hermitage. In case you are booking their more upscale room + if you are a buffet person, The Hermitage should deserve a 5 stars from you. :-)"
