Amazing views of the ocean with plenty of whale watching all week. We also had views towards the mountains which provided contrast. Construction was a bit noisy during the day but stopped on the weekends and at around 4.30pm daily. It wasn’t a hassle because we were out and about most of the day

Great place to stay with family

A great central to everything location. A short walk to train station and over to Darling Harbour. We went to the theatre and yet again just a short walk. The property was well presented. The breakfast well worth it. Really enjoyed our stay. The only downside was the communication with our booking we requested two beds in one of our two rooms booked. They had missed my emails and only prepared a queen size and had to quickly organise a trundle bed shoved in the room. This wasn’t ideal but we just dealt with it. This wouldn’t stop me from staying there again though as the in house customer service was good.

Nice stay

There were a few negatives unfortunately. Our apartment had 2 locked off areas, thus misrepresenting the SqM size of the room given this space was unavailable. I have stayed at apartments quoted with similar size and they have felt much more spacious than a small living area and bedroom only. Other somewhat minor inconveniences - our balcony was inaccessible from the living area, only the access via the bedroom door unlocked. There were no complimentary items such as bottled water provided in the mini bar. The air con was difficult to control temperature wise with only very warm or very cool settings easy to obtain. Communication wise, my original requests and preferences were never replied to or honoured/considered. Positives - the lobby and hotel generally are very modern and clean and felt premium. Also the view from the balcony was outstanding and to be expected when paying higher end pricing. Bathroom and in room spa were also very enjoyable, however I am surprised so many places are going with tubs now rather than proper spa baths. In short, I'd be unlikely to stay again unless a significantly reduced price presented on special. I believe other hotels such as Q1, Hilton and Mantra present a better overall experience at the current price bracket.
