Swiss Plateau Kid friendly Holidays

The hotel was close to the airport, and the shuttle to and from the airport was helpful. The rooms did not look at all like the pictures on the website and wasn’t worth the value for what you pay to stay there. We had 3 different rooms because the rooms were not clean enough to meet standard expectations. The manager was kind and helpful, and we appreciated her customer care for the concerns we shared.

The overall experience has been very good. The room was fairly small compared to hotels in North America but I guess that is understandable given real estate value in Switzerland. However, I would definitely recommend the hotel.

Overall good experience. The hotel is right next to the tram station, hence good mobility. Low rating on cleanliness because our room was not properly cleaned despite on time check in (we were hanging around in the lobby as the flight arrived early). The hotel has all aminities except for a microwave in common area to warm food, especially for kids or take out from restaurants.

The “Junior Suites” are amazing! Great casual indoor/outdoor eating directly out the front door and directly down the road from Lake Zürich. We didn’t end up dining at the restaurant that was on-site but the breakfast was first class. Great place… Excellent value!

Though the property had central air conditioning, the same was not operational due to government regulations. If we knew that a/c is not going to be available up front, we would have booked a different room/location at a lower rate Although the outside weather was comfortable (for the first 2 days) to sleep with the windows open, the street level noise plus the smell of cigarette etc was heavy
