Greater Antilles Honeymoon Holidays

This hotel was not perfect, but it was fine for our family of four, including two teenagers. We loved the saltwater pool and the chlorine pool, the slide, the swim up bar, the music that was playing outside and the vibe. The beach was right off the pool area. It was a nice hotel with some shortcomings here and there. Some cleanliness issues. But mainly the kitchen area is in the bathroom. And since the toilet and the glass shower are not separated, there was not much privacy. There was also not a microwave. But none of this was a game changer. The area was perfect. And we enjoyed our stay!

Our stay at the Royal Sonesta in San Juan was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a seamless check-in process. The location of the hotel is perfect—just steps away from the stunning Beach and within walking distance of fantastic dining, shopping, and cultural attractions. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, combining modern luxury with a touch of Puerto Rican charm. The rooms are spacious, immaculate, and offer breathtaking views of the ocean or the city. I loved waking up to the sound of the waves and the gentle breeze—such a refreshing start to each day! The amenities at the Royal Sonesta are top-notch. The pool area is gorgeous, and I spent hours lounging there, soaking up the sun with a refreshing cocktail in hand. The beach access is incredibly convenient, and I couldn’t get enough of the golden sands and crystal-clear waters. What really sets this hotel apart, though, is the service. Every staff member—from the front desk to the housekeeping team—was friendly, accommodating, and truly went above and beyond to make my stay unforgettable. Special shoutout to the concierge team for their excellent recommendations on local activities and dining spots! We can’t recommend the Royal Sonesta enough. Whether you're looking for a relaxing beach getaway, a cultural experience, or simply a luxurious place to unwind, this hotel has it all. I’ll definitely be back!
