Temperature in whole building uncomfortably cold would be more comfortable and could save money if they raised the temperature of the cooling system up a few degrees like 27 is comfortable for me but not sure what it is set at now but have to wear long pants and shirt to stay warm in my room and lobby

Everything about this hotel is fabulous.

Thankyou to the lovely staff at reception who asisted my wife and I with additional reservations and made sure everything was ready. Thankyou guys, absolutely excellent.

What can I add - it's the fabled Cathay Hotel (2.0), celebrating a bygone age with amazing staff, design, and service. Yes, it's pricey, but this is among the world's most interesting hotels and just staying there is an experience. It's beautiful and bold: more than a hotel, it's a worked example of everything travel should be. And because it's a recreation rather than the 1930s original, it's also modern and spotless, with old-school service like turn-down that just feels ... special. Hotels are usually just somewhere to sleep for me, but this one is far more. A wonderful place I'll always return to.

Receptionists were super helpful, very clean room and it was massive

Staff were courteous and helpful. The food at the breakfast buffet was very good! The food at the Red Jade, Lobby lounge/tap room was not very good! Was served cold and was not very tasty particularly the Red Jade! The room was quite clean but the toilet would not flush properly.
