Upolu Cheap Holidays

The washer machine need too be updated or upgraded. Need it a lot of work on it. I don’t know when was the last time it was clean. It got leftover soap on the dispenser.

The food is far too overpriced as they know there is no other options nearby they make it expensive- we have eaten out in Sydney on New Year’s Eve for less!! If you book a tour through the hotel it won’t run if you’re the only one on it, because they want the money (over 60NZD to drive for 10 minutes to the To Sua trench!) No tour operators will pick you up from the hotel as it’s too far away… The staff were nice but constantly forgot our drinks (bottle of water or coke). The food itself is average, when you’re paying these prices for food you expect it to be better. Overall the food/amenities are FAR too overpriced- it’s cheaper to eat in NZ and AUS than it is at this resort in SAMOA.

Brian, who co-owns the resort, takes personal interest in your comfort and ensures everything is in good order. The staff are very friendly and resourceful. We were extremely grateful and happy when Chai and the other staff made surprise birthday arrangements for our son at short notice and even sang happy birthday in both English and Samoan. Highly recommend a stay at Coconuts!! Thank you Brian and the lovely staff.

Didn’t have a spare toilet roll had to go down and get it myself. They didn’t change the towels once again had to do it myself. My sis and I had drinks out on the balcony on our first night we left the empties neatly on the side of the table …two days later they were still there. However staff were nice and the meal in the restaurant was enjoyable.
