From the moment we walked in, its been nothing but a great experience. Door staff friendly, Reception staff amazing and the manager Lauren even upgraded our room after hearing about my partners recent car accident. Thank you Sofitel staff & Lauren for making this a perfect holiday ❤️

Liked: My first floor room was spacious, clean, bright, the AC worked well and the bed quite comfortable. Disliked: The open stairwell allowed the restaurant and bar noise to be heard in my room; No clock radio.

Good location on Rundle Mall. We were just there for one night & checked in after hours, which was easy enough - you just call a phone number provided in an email. Parking was already validated for us, in the Wilson’s carpark, so that was really helpful. Cute little touches in the room such as hot chocolate sachets & Tim tams! The toiletries provided in the bathroom were really nice too. The bed & pillows were comfy & the room was cosy. It had everything we needed for a night’s stay. If you’re after coffee in the morning, there’s a little coffee kiosk in the Adelaide Arcade. Check out was easy, as the keys were just put back in the lock box. Security deposit was refunded quickly too, most places take ages to refund this, so that was great too.

Dinner wasn't that great, the burger Pattie was quite undercooked.

This is a hotel that has seen better days. There is nothing wrong with the hotel, there is just not enough that is up to the modern standards of other hotels. It is definitely not a 5 star hotel. 3/4 star in terms of hospitality. 4 star in terms of amenities.
