Fantastic resort but the property is a bit older. Lovely staff and premises.

Excellent, safe, clean, relaxing and quiet

An unforgettable hotel experience 1.Room was not ready when we were checking in at 2:30pm; the receptionist told us there will be staffs to inform us via WhatsApp at 3pm. We didn’t receive any message and eventually at 3:20pm I went to the reception to collect my key myself. 2.I made the booking separately for 2 consecutive nights and the room key gone invalid the second day. I messaged the hotel staff and got no response until midnight. I went to the reception to renew the key but found out the new keys were still invalid. We turned to a staff passed by help us to inform the reception again. It took us at least 20 minutes to get access back. 3.Hygiene issue: The shower mat is full of long hair and dirt. And there were long hairs in the bathtub. It really recalled my decade-away memory of being a student without money had to stay at cheap hotels. 4.Restaurant staff was coughing when working during the breakfast time without a mask. I hope I won’t bring home any sickness. 5.There is a big step on the beach (I’m 6’1 imagine I had to climb onto it). Melia is sharing the beach with Laguna and Westin while only Melia provided me a free climbing session here. However, unlike other resorts, Melia does charge you for the beachside amenities such as bicycles, puddle 6.Towel card forced the guests to take back the towels, feeling like a hotel staff myself. Other hotels let me enjoy the sunshine and wave while Melia didn’t forget to remind me of working. Will choose Marriott nextime

If you want a get away that is extremely quiet and away from the crazy city chaos, THIS IS THE PLACE!

Excellent, safe, clean, relaxing and quiet

Our stay at Padma Resort Ubud was exceptional, and it was easily one of the highlights of our trip to Indonesia. One of the biggest standouts was the food. The breakfast and dinner buffets offered probably the best diversity of cuisines I have experienced at any hotel in the world. We also thoroughly enjoyed the Fire & Feast experience, which included an incredible platter with five different proteins, sides, sauces, soup, salad, and gelato. There is also so much to do within the resort. We enjoyed the hike to the bamboo bridge, and the hotel offers numerous complimentary activities, including archery, golf, animal feeding, and fishing. The swimming pool and fitness center were also excellent, and I appreciated being able to maintain my daily exercise routine. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the service was outstanding. Every staff member we encountered was kind, friendly, and hospitable, and we appreciated the welcome drinks upon arrival. The location is also convenient for exploring Ubud and the surrounding attractions. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and feel this resort deserves even more recognition. With stronger marketing, I think Padma Resort Ubud could easily become an even more well-known destination. We would absolutely stay here again.
