"The reception area and ceilings. I’ve been going to the Palmer since 1965. This time with wife celebrating our 54th wedding anniversary. Just a wonderful place to stay. Only complaint is the price of cocktails. Two house old fashions with tax and tip costs about $50 dollars. That’s just too much ..."

"The property was in a great location.Everything was within walking distance.The staff was very nice and accommodating. The only thing and it has nothing to do with the hotel is that the fountain is being renovated in forsyth park.So if you're coming to see that then don't come right now."

"The hotel is a bit old. It's great if you're looking to stay in a property with a historical aspect. Check-in was troubling. I don't recall on the Hotel's description here on Expedia or on their own website that the deposit was $400 up front. I stayed for 6 days so that should have been around $170. ..."
