"Beautiful elegant spa hotel. Tried both restaurants and was not disappointed. Room was spacious and well appointed. The view across the golf course was lovely. Spa facilities were excellent. "

"The cottage had been beautifully renovated and was located centrally in the old district of town. A couple of small things would have improved the stay-the stairs to the second storey were steep and a bannister rail would have been appreciated, several basic supply items were lacking- no tea bags or fire lighters to light the kindling and wood supplied, and the heating automatically turned off after short periods and not all heaters appeared to be working. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay."

"DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL VIA HOTELS.COM!! the hotel - when we arrived - stated that they are NOT on this platform. Virtual Agent quoted a MOBILE number as the contact to the hotel and @GMAIL address for the email. clearly someone else set them up on this platform (most likely as a FRAUD!) I am terrified seeing this hotel still available on Hotels.com (and Expedia) after our complaint last week!"

"Lovely place. Amazing views and they have done a great job with the outside eating spaces. Staff all brilliant in terms of work ethic and service. Food was ok, portion sizes huge so if you have hollow legs you’ll love it. Downside was being in a room right next to the cellar delivery in the morning. Made so much noise we might as well had helped them unload the kegs. And in no universe is that room worth £240 for a night with no breakfast. Totally overpriced "
