"My husband, five year old and I stayed here for 3 days. We really enjoyed our stay! It was a beautiful open floor plan, artistic decor with big slider windows leading out to the patio. "I know it's cliche, but I truly wish I could give Bev and Gerry more than five stars. Their property is stunning - we spent half a day just roaming the beautiful grounds, seeing the plants and animals. It's incredibly secluded and felt like we were in our very own tropical paradise. Bev and Gerry are outstanding hosts and do everything they can to make the place welcoming and comfortable. I highly recommend staying here, and hope we can make it back one day."

Unfortunately for us, our stay corresponded with a 'kona low' rain storm and so we couldn't take full advantage of uniqueness of the property. "Instead of driving home late we wanted a place to stay after going to the theater in Hilo. Dolphin Bay Hotel was perfect. Within walking distance to the theater, shops and restaurants made it a very convenient option. Our room and the entire area is very clean. Our room was airy and comfortable. Our host even upgraded at no extra charge. There was a complete kitchen and the shower and bath tub were great. The grounds are kept beautifully, staff were very friendly and helpful - we felt aloha from everyone. We will be back."
