We stayed here twice in the last 3 months! We love it here! The staff at reception speak excellent English and are very welcoming which pleased my mother who is over 70. The Location is superb ! Unfortunately there is no English tv channels in the rooms but that is something that is easy for them to add

Fantastic location right on the main pedestrian street. Gorgeous hotel restaurant. Very good food. Room was large and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We loved our stay at Sabała and wish we coild stay longer.

The staff were really friendly, helpful and nothing was too much for them especially as we are not polish and the communication was not always easy for us.

Thank you for a lovely stay.
Wonderful hotel, we had a great stay. The reception staff were so friendly and helpful, they even arranged for us to have a packed lunch on our last day as we left before breakfast! We had an amazing view of the hills from our room too!

Mountain style hotel,very good restaurant
Hotel with long and rich history. Wooden Tatra mountain architecture.Located right on main pedestrian street with a lot of activities. Staff is so nice ,they treat you like lovely family. Superb tasty and high quality polish food in restaurant on site.

Nice hotel but staff attitude is awful
Nice hotel located in the heart of Zakopane. Recommended for these who want to stay in vibrant and lively place and don't mind noise. Comfy and clean rooms. Lovely concierge and reception staff. Sadly we have experienced very poor service from breakfast waitress. She was rude and unhelpful This had a negative impact on our satisfaction and we wouldn't come back.

Beautiful hotel in a great location.
The hotel has beautiful architecture, a great restaurant and beautiful rooms. The paid parking is in a sealed garage that is completely secure. The hotel is right in the middle of old town so all you have to do is step outside your door and you’re right in it.

We had a wonderful time during our stay! The breakfast was very good. I loved the restaurant. I also recommend getting a massage while you’re here, it was fabulous.

Good hotel for hiking weekend in Zakopane
Overall the hotel is great choice for hiking weekend gateway to Zakopane. Location - 10min walk from the bus station and the buses to the main attractions i.ex. Morskie Oko, Kuźnice for Kasprowy Wierch; also walking distance to the start point of other hikes. In the middle of Krupówki street so plenty of shops (inc. grocery stores) around. I guess during the season this area feels very crowded and noisy but at the beginning of June we didnt have any issues: the room was quiet, overlooking parking, only a couple of tables taken during the breakfast. Room - spacious, decorated in a regional style, with good wifi signal, TV and kettle in a room, table with two chairs. We had a private balcony, great way to relax after a day long hike away from the crowds. There is also a swimming pool and sauna in the hotel for free for hotel guests. Breakfast - cold and hot options, omlette/ scrambled eggs can be prepared on request, freshly baked bread really delicious. We didnt have any meals (except breakfast) in the hotel restaurant so cannot comment on this; the reception service was really friendly and helpful, the same during the breakfast. Id stay here again (really like the regional decor and the location) but outside the main season. Im not sure if there is a lift in the hotel so for some guests this could be problematic as all rooms are located on 1st, 2nd or 3rd floor.

Very nice hotel with a good location. The breakfast buffet was diverse and good and there was a cook cook to order chef for scrambles. I also had dinner at the restaurant on the outside terrace and it was fantastic!

Great hotel. Very solicitious staff, wonderful breakfast included, very convenient location. The only down side was no AC. It was hot and had to keep the window open, but there are no screeens so could not keep it totally open because of the mosquitoes. It would excellent on all counts if it wasn't for the heat. Still recommend it highly and will stay again off season.

Definitely not worth it!
This hotel is definitely not a good value for money so don't believe photos that are published. The staff is grumpy and not very helpful. Not much is done to make your stay cozy. This creates a very weird vibe and make you feel awkward around them. Nobody smiles and they all look as they are suffering (with a couple of isolated exceptions). The peak of the awkwardness was witnessed in the restaurant where one shift was absolutely impolite, adressed you with disrespect and... Clean the table with a hand by swiping crumbles on the floor. Funny for 3-star hotel. I definitely don't recommend it. Worse three nights in my polish honeymoon trip...

pretty much what we expected
Very nice hotel and facilities done in the typical architecture of this region, the Hotel Sabala is right on Krapowski which means everything is close by. The front desk people speak English and were very helpful throughout our stay. In fact, they helped me with information on tourist sites and activities via email even before we left for Poland. Breakfast was included and was a decent spread of cold cuts, breads, pastries and cereals so pretty basic but they also had an egg guy there who made fresh omelets and hard boiled eggs so a nice touch. The room we had was spacious and clean and very nice - done up in the classic wood style of the region which made it look like a cabin - only things missing were a room safe and a fridge but not a big deal.

Lovely mountain lodge hotel in Zakopane
The room was spotlessly clean. The majority of the Reception staff were incredibly helpful, one or two of them could smile more and be a little warmer. The hotel is well run and in a great location, right on the main street. It was very warm when we stayed (room 205), so needed the windows open at night, however the crowds on the street in the evenings were very noisy, with music playing until after 4am. Perhaps ask for a room towards the back of the hotel if you want peace and quiet - although you will miss the pretty mountain views. The restaurant in the downstairs of the hotel was fantastic, we ate here several nights. Service was a little slow, but the food was fantastic. The wifi in the hotel is only available in the Reception area, this was a shame, but didn't affect our stay. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Sabala and would look forward to visiting again, perfect in ski season. Thank you

Great hotel
I stayed 3 nights at this hotel with my wife. The first night we spent in a room on the first floor by the parking lot it was a little noise. In the morning my wife asked if we could change rooms they did with out a problem, we were moved to a room on the second floor with a beautiful view of the Tatra mountains. It was also much quieter on the second floor. The breakfast was exceptional, and the front desk was very helpful. We would stay at this hotel again.

Lovely hotel on Zakopane's main street -- very convenient for shops, restaurants, the funicular railway, and smoked-cheese sellers. Lovely staff -- their English was MUCH better than my Polish -- and a great breakfast.

Charming Zakopane Hotel
The Hotel Sabala is in a superb location on Krupowski street. The restaurants offer great Polish food in a very traditional Goral style setting. The staff is very pleasant and greats the guests very politely. The bed wasn't the most comfortable but that is to be expected from some older properties. But it wasn't bad. The room itself was charming with lots of hand carved wooden furniture. There is wireless internet access downstairs in the lobby and main restaurant but I could only use the wired internet access in my room on the first floor of the main building. The internet access was complimentary and provided excellent speed in comparision to many hotels I've stayed at.
