"The hotel is expensive but worth it. Our breakfast was amazing, the pool and hot tub spotless, and the room/bathroom/balcony very clean and comfortable. The hotel is in a beautiful location on the hill and was a treat to be at for our four nights! Also, it is a good location for some sightseeing such as the seven hells."

"Very nice amenities and great view! Unfortunately, when we arrived, we didn’t know which home we were staying in. We just tried the pin at each of the lockboxes until it worked. "I love that this hotel was completely different than what I expected. Upon arriving I was pleasantly surprised by the bed & breakfast style of the hotel and the nostalgic memorabilia displayed throughout the hotel as well. The staff was very informative and accommodating to my needs while speaking english. I felt right at home. The free hot chocolate was delicious which I sipped graciously in the living room after a hot soak in the private onsen. I had such a relaxing experience. I am looking forward to visiting Yufuin again and returning to this hotel! "
