"Helpful staff to foreign travelers. Location wise it’s a short walk to the train station and there’s a good selection of restaurants right outside for quick snack."

"Beautiful room"

"A very unique hotel with old charm, friendly staff and clean comfortable room"

"Great hotel. Location could be better"

"Truly unique design and the location is unbeatable. Staff were awesome and so helpful. The AC worked great in October (other reviews noted they had problems, mine was fine but maybe a little noisy). Main thing I disliked was the lack of a fridge or any snacks or beverages beyond two small water bottles. Still, I’d stay here again."

"City central to everything you can walk and feel safe!"

"Great amenities and service"

"Breakfast was great. Location was fantastic. Friendly staff and clean rooms. This would be my go to in Shanghai."

"Location and very friendly people"

"Well located near 3 subway lines. Staffs are very helpful. Breakfast is very pleasant and with lots of food options."

"Wonderful service will be back"

"Excellent property and staff. Very comfortable with spacious room and bathroom. Conveniently located next to Global Harbor mall. Plenty of things to do and places to eat around."

"I really enjoy staying at this hotel. The interior has a cozy, welcoming feel with soft lighting and warm tones, and the rooms are both comfortable and practical. Small details like the layout, outlets by the bed, and well chosen furniture make it easy to settle in. The gym is also much better than what I usually see at hotels, with enough machines and weights for a proper workout. What makes the biggest difference, though, is the service. Charming, Una, and Yoyo always work together as a team...

"Great value for money hotel with perfect amenities including gym and pool. Loved the location and available cafes, restaurants, etc around"

"This was better than anything I have stayed in China"
